Safe Team Soap Challenge

OH MY GOODNESS! How i wish one could smell through the computer......... YOU know like a scratch and sniff! Someone will invent a sniffer for the computer and make a million bucks! I would be first in line to buy one.

The challenge was to pick a country and create a soap that represents that country. Just looking at the soaps and reading the descriptions one can simply imagine the wonderful scents.
While you are there make sure to vote on your favorite scent. I believe a prize will be given out to one of the comments.

One other wonderful and free thing that the Safe Team does is hold a weekly chat in etsy vitual labs about different aspects on soaping and our businesses.

It's the Virtual Soap Symposium! Mondays in April at Etsy's Virtual Labs at 5 pm (EST). Everything you wanted to know about bath and body products but didn't know you were supposed to ask!This week, April 6th: Anne-Marie Faiola of Brambleberry will talk about melt-and-pour soap for us - what it is, why it works, how it is different than CP, additives such as herbs, GRAS, fragrances, Essential Oils, labeling, and claims!

Spring is here in Texas

WOW it is over 75 here in Dallas on this WINDY but Sunny Feb Day! Well we got our college apps in and now we are working on some aid for college. Kassy and Melissa both loved Texas Women's University so they both submitted their apps and are hoping they both get in, get the money and can room together. Just in case that falls through Kassy applied at Brookhaven too.

Well off the antibotics but the ulcer is still causing problems. Decided to stay off of glueten and hope that helps some of the pain. So while I have been sitting around resting I made up some Spring goodies. I have not decided where to list them all but might put some on eBay later this week.
This bunny tree topper (which can also be a free standing doll) is made for challenge in The Painted Daisy Community.

I had fun making up some small primitive annies in a couple styles ... One for Lemon Poppy Seeds
And one for Country Fried Primitives.

AND this cute gal is made using a Denni Doodles Pattern and can be for St Paddy's or Spring.


So excited I re-connected with some of my ZTA Sisters on Facebook and hope to see one in person this weekend! Man time really does move faster the older one gets. Hitting 50 in May but it seems like yesterday we were all parting at good ole UU.
