Ramblings on a Friday the 13th

WOW The first Friday the 13 in 2009 and it was a great day. Started out by doing some window shopping at Joanns and rain into an old friend from "room mom days". Then visit the YMCA and joined for me and the hubby! Can't wait to go water walking!
Tonight we went out to Kel's this wonderful home cooking joint and had the best chicken in a long time. Brought home banana pudding for later tonight.

Finished up this cutie and she will be flying off to a special friend tomorrow.

The holidays are right around the corner and NOW is the time to get your orders in for FUN and YUMMY soaps from Sassy Soaps N Such.
Do you know someone who has been a little naughty this year? Need a great gag gift or white elephant gift for the holidays....
We have the perfect gift for you. For the past couple holidays we have been playing around with different soaps and molds to create the best gag gift for that special someone on your list.
We are very proud to say we have finally developed the perfect Lump of Coal!
Yes....... it even comes in it;s own little pouch.
Each soap is made from glycerin soap with a touch of shea butter for added moisture. The soaps are made from a mold that we adjusted to make it look just like the coal Santa might bring. The lumps weight in at 2-3 oz and will arrive in their own hand sewn bag. The bags are made from black and white ticking.

Oh in need of my camera

Today was SOAP DAY! Had to make up some soaps for a client and so decided it was time to create some new fun soaps for Fall!

OH I had so much fun. Made some Vanilla Smootie Glycerin leaves and pumpkins with silk leaves inside them. I made some chocolate Turkey Soaps. And there it was, all nicely displayed in a basket and BAM.... I realized my camera is on an airplane somewhere between Green Bay and Dallas. Yep! The lucky hubby was in Green Bay last night to watch the Cowboys win and he took the camera so I could see what I missed! So now I have to wait to show you what I made today.

So I'm thinking I can show you some soaps I did NOT make today but I do have them for sale in my etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5155740 and also our website Sassy Soaps N Such http://www.sassysoapsnsuch.com

Check out My Friend Norma's Soaps

I love to create and sell handmade items. Anything from soaps to dolls and everything in-between. I was so lucky to find out about etsy and get the pleasure of meeting alot of new "artsy" folks online. I feel really blessed to have meet Norma with Norma's Bath nd Body before she closed her shop on etsy. Don't worry Norma has her own website (click on the title to find her).
Norma creates the cutest and yummiest melt and pour soaps!
She also makes sugar scubs and all kinds of wonderful bath products!
This is one of her soaps that looks and smells so much like the real deal!

Not only does Norma create awesome bath and body products, she also takes time to help other handcrafters get their shoppes noticed.
If you are looking to buy handcrafted items then check out her blog

She has a nice long list of place you can go to find just about anything.

Check out Norma's goodies! Now remember they are soaps not food although they all look good enough to eat!
Norma THANKS for being such a great HandCrafting Friend!
