It's Cowboy Monday Night

Man oh Man it feels like FOOTBALL outside here in Dallas. MY Cowboys play the Eagles (boo hiss) tonight on Monday Night Football and it is only 73 here today at 1pm! IT feels like Fall and today we are going to be eating Cowboy Stew and hollaring at the big screen!
Everyone in the family gets involved when the Cowboys play.



I have on my throw back jersey '12 ' and Chico even has his Cowboy Jeresy on ready to run around and BARK FOR THE BOYS!



Now my good friend Angie from Angie's Raggedy Patch she is an Eagle fan (boo hiss) and she says she is wearing her Eagles (boo hiss) Jersey. I told her I expected to see her in her Eagle (boo hiss) jersey on her blog. Charity Auction September 26 in eBay

Lemon Poppy Seeds is hosting a Charity Auction on Sept 26 on eBay. All proceeds from this auction will go to National Cervical Cancer Coalition. The NCCC charity is an IRS-approved charitable organization, and one which is very near and dear to our
hearts.

We will post updates here and how to find us on eBay once the auctions begin. I am personally working on the auctions and I can tell you there are many amazing offerings!

Miracles for Mallory Charity Auction

I just had to share with you this story and wonderful group of artist who are working to help bring a awareness and help for those families in need.

Where will the funds go from the auction??
The funds will be going to a foundation my father established called Memories for Mallory and it will be working with Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas to distribute funds to afflicted with Trisomy 18 without insurance. We also want to establish a park bench at a local playground in Mallory's name as well. And in the future, since this is "seed" money for the foundation, we are hoping to donate a room where children can stay and play while their mothers are going through labor at that hospital. Our family thinks the sky is the limit with this, we hope to make it bigger each year. And with each growing year we hope to provide more funding to people accross the US aflicted with this devistating disease. After all isn't that how the Susan G. Koman foundation started and other wonderful organizations? That's our ultimate goal. As a family, we wanted to start by helping the hospital which gave Mallory such wonderful care and showed so much love during our darkest hour, then we want to spread out to others accoss our country.

Shweet Potato Graphics are so inspiring!

I love Carm's graphics. You can find a free graphic from Shweet Potato if you click on our title. Carm is gracious and allows me to create dolls and ornies and such using her graphics as inspiration.
