I promised to tell you about Dewey OK! This is a wonderful little town right outside Bartlesville and not to far from Tulsa. My sister took my hubby and I to visit late on a Saturday afternoon. Some of the little shoppes were already closed up I did get to visit Cedar Creek Collectibles and talk with the wonderful owner Judie. If you ever get around there pop in. You open the door to this amazing shop and it just smells like yesteryear. It is full of vintage, primitive and antique steals. They carry Swam Lake Candles which smell out of this world. You can find very unqiue cards and posters as well as dolls and signs. Check them out if you get to Dewey, OK.
After we left Cedar Creek Collectibles we were walking around the town and we saw a sign that said handmade fudge. Just a little hole in the wall but who can say NO to fudge especially homemade fudge so off we go. Well, when you walk into this store there is a small outer porch area, covered that is filled with jelly beans. THEN you push open the first door into the real store and you are amazed at the wonderful reproduction FABRIC!!! Yes there is a small area with homemade fudge but the fabric is to die for! Fat quarters and by the bolt you are amazed at this little space the wonder it holds. The name of this shoppe is Featherbed Fabrics & Fudge. My hubby said it was a "TRICK STORE" they tricked him into taking me into a fabric store.
So if you get around Northern OK check out the wonderful little stores in Dewey OK!
